To prevent the WebLink connection from dropping, you will need to change the Battery Optimization in your smartphone settings. You can modify it either from the phone settings or the WebLink app settings.
On Android Smartphone
- Open Settings on your smartphone
- Tap on Battery, Power, or Battery optimization
- Locate and select WebLink Host
- Select Don’t Optimize or Allow in Background
On WebLink Host Android App
- Launch the WebLink Host on your smartphone
- Go to Settings within the app
- Tap on Battery, Power, or Battery optimization
- Select Don’t Optimize or Allow in Background
